Post Office Administration

Post Office Installation

This program will install and configure Post Office for you. Please follow the directions on each of the pages to install Post Office.

Step 1

  1. The first step in installing Post Office is to create a directory on your server where Post Office can store its files. You should use your FTP program or telnet program to create a directory on your server.
  2. Change the permissions on the directory you just created to 777 or read, write, and execute to all. You can do so by right clicking on the directory in your FTP program and choosing CHMOD or Change Permissions. If you are on a windows server you do not need to change the permissions
  3. Enter the absolute path to the directory you just created in the box below and then press continue

    Examples:
    /usr/home/myusername/www/postoffice
    c:/home/www/myusername/postoffice

  4. Enter the absolute path to the directory where you uploaded the CGI files.
